About Aspire
Aspire is one of the longest standing names in UK vaping, and the brand has built its reputation on practical hardware that lasts. From the original PockeX, which became a go to first kit for thousands of UK smokers switching over, to the Nautilus tanks that experienced vapers still rate as a benchmark for mouth to lung flavour, Aspire has stayed focused on what actually works rather than chasing trends.
The Aspire range explained
If you're new to the brand, it helps to know what fits where. Full vape kits like the Flexus Q, Flexus Stik and PockeX give you a complete setup in one box, which is the simplest route if you're starting out or replacing an old device. Refillable pod kits such as the Gotek series and Flexus pod systems let you fill your own e liquid, so running costs drop and you get a wider choice of flavours. If you already own a mod and want a classic tank, the Nautilus 2S, Nautilus 3 and Nautilus Prime sit within our vape tanks selection. Finally, vape coils are the ongoing part of vaping, since coils wear out with use and need replacing every one to two weeks for most people.
MTL, RDL and choosing the right setup
Most Aspire kit is built for MTL, which stands for mouth to lung. That's the tighter draw that mimics a cigarette, and it pairs with nic salts at 10mg or 20mg. Some Aspire tanks and pods also offer restricted direct lung, a slightly airier draw that suits 50/50 liquids at lower nicotine strengths. Coil resistance is the giveaway. Anything from 1.0 ohm upwards is MTL territory, while 0.3 to 0.8 ohm coils lean towards RDL. Always check the coil model matches your specific device before ordering, because Aspire coils are not cross compatible across ranges.
Who Aspire suits
Experienced vapers tend to know the Nautilus name well, but plenty of Aspire's simpler kits are approachable for adult smokers switching to vaping for the first time. The Flexus Q in particular is one of the easier kits to live with day to day.
